Is an illustrator, writer and cartoonist living in New York.
Her stories follow themes of relationships, rituals, the city, and faith. Raines’ current project is an autobiographic novel about growing up in the Catholic faith in South Louisiana, and reckoning with its problems and blessings as an adult.
Raines’ work has been exhibited at Greenpoint Gallery, SMUSH Gallery, MoCCA Festival, at the Spatial Spirits show, and in a group risograph show with Parsons School of Design, Pratt Institute, and HAW Hamburg, titled “Secrets.” Her work has also been featured in the Catholic Artist Connection.
She is a graduate from Parsons School of Design.
