Ashanté Stephens-Hoye, often known as Ashanté DuJour is a multidisciplinary visual artist currently attending Howard University.
She is adept in drawing, painting, ceramics, and textiles but often prefers to render her final productions digitally for a clean and unique appearance. A very important facet of her work is both color and inclusivity. She tries to make her work pop out not only with the vibrant and eccentric pallet but with the intersectionality she displays through her pieces.
Her comics are often an introspective look on her experiences as she balances life as a young black female artist, student, and piece of a larger than life social puzzle.
