AIDAN KOCH was born in Seattle, WA and currently lives and works in Brooklyn, NY. She received her BFA in Illustration at the Pacific NW College of Art in Portland, OR, and works in a variety of mediums, often blurring their conventions.
She is the author of three book-length comics–The Whale, The Blonde Woman, and Impressions. She has had solo exhibitions at Mission Comics in San Francisco, City Limits in Oakland, Farewell Books in Austin, Nationale in Portland, and Huis Haas in Antwerp. Her work has been included in group exhibitions at SIGNAL in Brooklyn and And Now in Dallas, among others. Her work has appeared in a variety of group exhibitions, as well as The Paris Review.
