Maggie Sutrov‘s spirit of adventure inspired her to take the Santoro Correspondence Course in the midst of moving from Southeast Asia to Maui, Hawaii, in 2014. She fit it into her wild schedule because, in her words – “There’s work to be done, and it’s worth it.”
“… The exercises changed the way I drew. [The course] affected my non-sequential art as much as it affected my sequential art. I’m continuing at my comic, and I’m so thankful for this experience which has carried my art forward.”
We’re pleased to feature some of the work Maggie did during the course – on site, in the moment, plein air.
